BCB president undergoes successful surgery

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Papon underwent a successful surgery in a hospital in London Wednesday night.
He was suffering from prostate problem.
BCB director, also media committee chairman Jalal Yunus confirmed the news.
Papon left Dhaka for London due to his serious prostate illness on June 21. However, he could not take treatment there at the beginning because of coronavirus outbreak.
He started his treatment in London on July 4, after 14-day quarantine ended.
Earlier, he was admitted to the capital’s Apollo Hospital for three times before leaving for London.
As a media-friendly person, Papon was last seen in front of the media on May 20 while handing over Tk 50 lakh BCB grant to the State Minister for Sports for the 501 athletes of the other sports in the country. Basically after then he wasn’t seen anywhere.
