BNP engaged in spreading propaganda and lies: Quader

Awami League (AL) general secretary Obaidul Quader has said BNP leaders are engaged in spreading anti-state propaganda and lies without playing a responsible role during the global coronavirus crisis.

The Road Transport and Bridges Minister made the remarks in regular press briefing at his official residence in the capital on Sunday.

Mentioning that the anti-national untruthful statement of an Italian expatriate BNP leader has created intense anger and dissatisfaction among the expatriates, Quader said, ‘He said that one million people are infected in Bangladesh and there is no treatment of coronavirus.’
