BSF kills Bangladeshi along Sylhet border

A Bangladeshi man has been gunned down by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Jaflong of Gowainghatupazila in Sylhet.

The deceased was identified as Kala Mia, 36, son of Godu Mia at Kandubostivillage of Jaflong union.

BGB-19 Battalion Commander Lt. Col. Rafikul Islam confirmed the information.

He said the incident took place around 11:30am on Saturday inside the Indian territory near the Dawki Bridge.
