Authorities of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) have announced this morning that the university will remain closed due to stronger movement demanding resignation of its vice chancellor.
The university will remain closed from September 22 to October 3 to avoid the situation created.
The students have been asked to vacate the dormitories.
A notice, signed by BSMRSTU Registrar Dr Nur Uddin Ahmed, has been issued in this regard on Saturday.
The students have been demonstrating against VC Khondoker Md Nasiruddin since September 17 for his alleged involvement in various misdeeds including recruitment business, misappropriation of money and sexual harassment.
