BU, CU get new VCs, DU VC reappointed

The government has appointed new vice-chancellors for Chittagong University and Barishal University while Dhaka University's VC has been reappointed.

Education ministry issued three separate gazette notifications in this regard on Sunday.

Acting vice chancellor of Dhaka University (DU) Md Akhtaruzzaman has been appointed vice chancellor of the university.

Besides, Former Pro-VC Professor Dr Shirin Akhter has been made as vice-chancellor of Chittagong University while, Professor Dr Sadekul Arefin got appointment as vice-chancellor of Barishal University.
