Bangladesh and Qatar have agreed to sign four MoUs in a bid to increase manpower export and trade relation.
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam disclosed this at a press briefing on Monday noon after a meeting with Qatari State Minister for Foreign Affairs Soltan bin Saad Al-Muraikhi.
Md Shahriar Alam said Qatar has showed its interest to recruit skilled manpower from Bangladesh.
The state minister said “The labour market has opened up for us in Qatar. They want to take skilled workers from us. You know that Qatar is the country with the highest per capita income. On the occasion of the FIFA World Cup-2022, Qatar needs huge workers. We have discussed the issue with them”.
