Sports Desk: Bangladesh have opted to bat first after winning the toss in the crucial second ODI against Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium Colombo.
Taijul Islam has replaced Rubel Hossain.
After suffering a crushing 91-run defat in the first ODI on Friday, it is a very much important match for Bangladesh to stay alive in the three-match series against Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh are optimistic about bouncing back in the second game. A win will level the series for the Tigers, but a loss will hand it to the hosts.
In the first match, Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bat. They amassed 314 for eight in 50 overs, riding on an imperious century by Kusal Perera.
The third and final game of the series will be played on July 31 at the same venue - R Premadasa Stadium.
