Bangladesh coronavirus death toll reaches 120

The coronavirus death toll in Bangladesh has reached 120.

As of Wednesday noon, Bangladesh’s death toll from the illness had grown by 10. Currently, the country has 3,772 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 120 deaths.

Prof Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general (administration) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), said this during the regular briefing.

She said 10 people died of coronavirus infections while 390 tested positive in the last 24 hours.

A total of 3,096 samples were tested across the country in the last 24 hours, Dr Nasima said.

Meanwhile 5 more made recovery from the decease, taking the recovery toll to 92, she said.
