He said, “The Myanmar side said they are trying to convince the Rohingyas to return to Myanmar but during their discussions at Rohingya camps, Rohingya representatives smiled when they were requested to return.”
Kamrul Ahsan also said, trust is needed among Rohingyas to return Rakhaine. That’s why Myanmar representatives made first visit. They talked with Rohingyas and heard about the problems of Rohingyas.
“Single visit will not solve the problem. Myanmar’s representatives will have to come couple of times more. Bangladesh will not force anyone (Rohingyas) to go back,” he added.
