Bangladesh suspends on-arrival visas for unidentified period

The Bangladesh government has suspended visa-on-arrival for foreign nationals amid the growing number of Covid-19 cases in the country.
The Ministry of Home Affairs sent a directive mentioning it to Additional Inspector General of Police (Special Branch) on Tuesday.
But the foreign investors and businessmen will get visa-on-arrival on some conditions, according to the ministry. In this regard, the foreign investors and businessmen will have to submit some papers including coronavirus-free certificate and business-related papers to Immigration Department within 72 hours.
Earlier, the Ministry of Home Affairs suspended on visa-on-arrival service for several times due to Covid-19.
