Bangladesh’s labour councillor in Jeddah infected with Covid-19

A Labour Councillor of Bangladesh Mission in Jeddah of Saudi Arabia has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

The councillor worked with the Saudi administration at a camp in Medina to convince 4,000 Bangladeshi workers to go under the coronavirus test last week.

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has prayed for his early recovery.

He also urged all the officials working in Bangladesh missions abroad to carry out their duties following the virus related health guidelines.
