Bank accounts of Juba League Chairman Omar Faruk summoned

The bank accounts of Jubo League Chairman Mohammad Omar Faruk Chowdhury have been summoned.

Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has given directives to all banks to provide information about bank accounts in the name of Jubo League Chairman Mohammad Omar Faruk Chowdhury.

Wishing anonymity, officials of some commercial banks confirmed the matter on Thursday.

In the BFIU letter, it has been said that the information regarding details of transactions in his names have to be sent within three working days.
