Benapole port to remain open on Friday

Customs Clearing & Forwarding Agents Association (C&F) of Benapole decided to continue the trading point open on Friday too to keep the export-import normal during ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The decision was taken in a meeting with five organizations presided by C & F Agent Association president Mafizur Rahman on Wednesday noon (June 17).

Imdadul Haque Lota, general secretary of C & F Association said, export-import were totally shut from last three months through this route. After discussing with Benapole customs, port authority, everyone agreed to keep continue the trading on Friday too.

On March 22, the export-import through the port were declared closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
