Blood sample of China returnee student sent to Dhaka

Sample of blood and liquid materials from neck and throat of China returnee student who was admitted Barguna Sadar Hospital on suspicion of being Coronavirus infection has been sent to Dhaka.
The sample was sent to the lab of the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).
Meanwhile, Barguna Civil Surgeon Dr Humayun Shahin Khan urged people not be panicked over Coronavirus.
He made the urge in a press briefing on Monday.
According to hospital authority and family members, the China returnee student is known as son of Mokhlesur Rahman of Chalitatoli village under sadar upazila in Barguna. He went China with scholarship for studies. He returned home after deadly Coronavirus broke down there on February 15. China authority released him as he was not found infected with Coronavirus. But he felt fever on February 16. So, he was admitted to the hospital.
