Body of child found packed in sack in city

Police have recovered the body of a missing five-year-old boy from the capital’s Gulistan area.

The body was found stuffed in a sack near Olympics More around 9.30pm on Sunday.

The boy, named Md Sami, was the son of Md Sagar and Jharna Begum who reside in the number three gate of Bangabandhu National Stadium.

Sami’s mother Jharna Begum said their son went missing from Saturday evening and they informed the Paltan Thana police about it.

Sub Inspector of Paltan Thana Anwar Hossain said “We found Sami stuffed in a sack and sent him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead”.
