Bracelet gifted back to Mashrafe by the buyer

Bangladesh's former captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza's bracelet was sold for a whopping Tk 42 lakh during an auction on Sunday.
It was a bracelet that he donned on his arm for 18 long years
The auction was conducted through 'Auction 4 Action', a Bangladesh based charity organisation.
Mashrafe auctioned the bracelet to raise funds for people affected by the Covid-19 outbreak.
Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Companies Association (BLFCA) bid the highest price of Tk 40 lakh for the bracelet that was set at a base price of Tk five lakh.
The chairman of BLFCA, who is also the CEO of IPDC Finance Limited -- Mominul Islam -- added Tk 2 lakh to the bid, making it Tk 42 lakh in total.
Mominul also announced that they want to return the bracelet to Mashrafe as a gift.
The bracelet, with Mashrafe's name on it, has been a lucky charm and witness to all the highs and lows of his career.
