Brother, sister burned to death in Khagrachhari

Two children were killed in a fire that broke out at their house in Lipiyara village under Manikchhari upazila of Khagrachhari district.

The deceased were known as Mangsalu Marma, 11 and Omra Marma, 6, children Memeng Marma.  

Locals said, the fire originated from the kitchen of the house early Thursday. Meanwhile, other members of family managed to flee the scene but the two kids were stuck inside the house.

Manikchhari police station officer-in-charge (probe) Amzad Hossain confirmed the matter.
