By-polls in Bogura-1, Jashore-6: Two MPs take oath

Two lawmakers-elect in Bogura and Jashore by election have taken oath as members of the 11th parliament.

The two MPs – Begum Sahadara Mannan from Bogura-1 and Shahin Chakladar from Jashore- 6 parliamentary constituencies – took the oath on Thursday (July 23).

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the swearing-in at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.

National Parliament senior secretary Dr Zafar Ahmed Khan, Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah, Chief Whip Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury and others attended the function.
