Cold wave may continue for three days

A mild cold wave is sweeping over parts of the country, and it may continue for next three days.

Meteorologist Ruhul Quddus said the chilling weather already engulfed Rajshahi, Naogaon, Kurigram, Nilphamari, Jashore and Chuadanga districts and it may spread and continue for next three days more.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over, it said.

Rajshahi recorded a temperature of 9.8 degrees Celsius, Iswardi 8.8 degrees Celsius, Badalgachhi 9.5 degrees Celsius, Saidpur 10.0 degrees Celsius, Rajarhat 9.8 degrees Celsius, Jashore 9.2 degrees Celsius and Chuadanga 7.9 degrees Celsius.
