Commerce Minister sees possibility of retaining GSP

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has expressed his optimism to get back the Generalised System of Preferences (GSP) for Bangladeshi products in the US market.

The Minister came up with the hope after a meeting with a delegation from USA on Tuesday.

Tipu Munshi said we had positive discussion on GSP. 

He, however, said there is nothing to appeal for GSP. But we can talk about it. If they think it should be granted, they will allow. I believe we will get a good news in TICFA meeting.
