Cops cordon off ‘militant den’ at Fatullah

Members of the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit are now conducting a drive at a suspected militant hideout at Fatullah in Narayanganj.

The CTTC members began their operation from early Monday at the house of Joynal Abedin, a retired bank official, in Takkarmath area of Shibchar.

Officer-in-Charge of Fatullah Model Thana Mohammad Aslam Hossain confirmed the matter.

Police have arrested three persons for interrogation. The arrestees are two sons of Joynal Abedin-Farid Uddin, 27, Jamal Uddin, 23, and Farid Uddin’s wife Jannatul Foara Anu, 27.
