Corona infected couple held

Rajbari Thana Police has held a coronavirus couple who fled from Dhaka.

Later, the police admitted them to Kushtia General Hospital.

Acting on a tip off, police held them on Friday evening from a battery-run auto-rickshaw on Rajbari-Kushtia regional road.

They hailed from Daulatpur upazila in Kushtia district.

They would reside in a rented house in Kamrangirchar.

They fled from Dhaka after they had been diagnosed with coronavirus. 

Kushtia Civil Surgeon Dr. HM Anowarul Islam confirmed the matter.
