Coronavirus: SAARC nations' video-conference started

Leaders of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) have joined a video-conference to chalk out a joint strategy to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
The special conference started at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s official residence Ganabhaban around 5:30pm. Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen and other joined the conference.
Earlier on Friday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted and urged the leaders of south Asian countries to to chalk out a strong strategy to combat coronavirus outbreak.
In a series of tweets, Modi said,"our planet is battling the COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus. At various levels, governments and people are trying their best to combat it. South Asia, which is home to a significant number of the global population should leave no stone unturned to ensure our people are healthy."
