Country to move ahead further with Walton: Finance Minister

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal opined, I believe that Bangladesh will move ahead further with Walton.

The minister made the opinion while addressing inaugural ceremony of production process of Walton RAM (Random Access Memory) at the NEC auditorium in the capital’s Agargaon on Tuesday afternoon.

He said, “Bangabandhu once said that we are a heroic nation. So we won’t be defeated ever. We come here today to achieve victory. Walton always thinks in diplomatic way. It’s a good sign.”

“We don’t want to miss the fourth industrial revolution. This revolution is based on internet and this initiative will take Bangladesh one step forward to fourth industrial revolution.”

In the program, Post and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar said, “We can’t even dream of manufacturing RAMs 10 years ago. But, we are now producing RAMs, computers and laptops devices. We are now not only a consumer-country anymore and in future Bangladesh will export such devices.”

Walton Digi-Tech Industries Chairman SM Rezaul Alam and Managing Director SM Monjurul Alam, Walton Executive Director SM Jahid Hasan, Walton Computer Division Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Engineer Liakat Ali, Deputy Executive Director Firoz Alam, Additional Director Milton Ahmed and others attended the function.
