Couple’s throat-slit bodies found in Kishoreganj

Kishoreganj Correspondent: Police recovered throat-slit bodies of a couple from Chanpur viallage under Karimganj upazila in Kishoreganj on Friday evening.

The deceased were known as Abu Bakar, 28, son of Moktar Hossain of Kadirjangal area and his wife Hima Akter, also daughter of Masud Mia of Gangail Pathanpara area. The got married six months ago.

According to family sources, Abu Bakar along with his wife Hima was going to aunty Hasi Begum’s home when they were killed.

Karimganj police said the couple were killed by sharp weapons. Both of their throats were found slit. The bodies were sent to morgue for autopsy.

Mominul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Karimganj Police Station, confirmed the news.
