'Court will not compromise with BGMEA building demolition'

Staff Correspondent: Attorney General Mahbubey Alam has said that there is a court order to break down the illegal building of BGMEA, and the court will not compromise with demolishing it.

The attorney general said this in responding to a question of a journalist at his Supreme Court office on Thursday.

Responding to the question over the time prayer petition, the attorney general said that if any such application comes, it will go to court and the court will decide on it.

A legal notice was sent to the BGMEA president mentioning that why a defamation case wouldn’t filled if the petition seeking one year time is withdrawn, he said.
