Crest Securities MD Shahid Ullah arrested

Detective Branch (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested Crest Securities Managing Director Md Shahid Ullah, his wife Nipa Sultana and two others, over embezzlement of shares and money of investors of the brokerage houses.

The other arrestees were known as Md Khorshed and Md Jewel.

DB (Ramna Zone) arrested them from Laxmipur-Noakhali border area around 12:00pm on Monday.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) HM Azizul Haque of Ramna zone confirmed the news.

Meanwhile, Paltan Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI), also Investigation Officer (IO) of the case told risingbd that investigation continues in the case. It is not possible to say anything more than that.
