Walton Group’s higher officials are handing over the certificate of Best Plaza Sales Development In-charge to Razib Kumar Das at ‘TV Branding Award’ held at the local brand’s Corporate Office in the capital on Wednesday

Staff Correspondent: Television customers of Walton brand are likely to get gold edition cricket bat-ball with the autograph of Bangladesh National Cricket Team’s ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza through registering their televisions just after the purchase from any outlets under the nationwide ongoing digital campaign season-4 of the local brand.

In addition, Walton’s another campaign titled ‘Sadhooer Moddhe Srestho TV’ is prevailed across the country, in which customers may get lucrative cash discounts on the purchase and registration of Walton brand’s 24 and 32 inch LED TV as well as 32, 39 and 43 inch smart televisions.

Customers will enjoy these benefits on Walton TV purchase during the Cricket World Cup. These was disclosed at a programme titled ‘TV Branding Award’ held at Walton’s Corporate Office in the capital on Wednesday (June 12, 2019).

Walton officials in the function informed that sales of their televisions were increased by 53 percent during the first five months (January to May) of the current year compared with the sales of the previous year’s same period.

For making outstanding contribution to achieve this growth, total of 6 personnel, including 4 area managers and 2 divisional managers from Walton plaza and distributor marketing channels, were awarded with the certificates at the event.

Along with them, the local brand also honored four distributors, six area managers and one plaza manager with ‘TV Branding Award’  for their outstanding branding of the Walton’s ‘Sadhooer Moddhe Srestho TV’ campaign during the last month.

At the event, the awardees received certificates from Walton Group’s Vice-Chairman SM Nurul Alam Rezvi and Directors Tahmina Afrose Tanna and Raisa Sigma Hima.

Among others, Walton Group’s Executive Directors Amdadul Haque Sarker, SM Zahid Hasan, Md. Humayun Kabir, Mohammad Rayhan, Md. Sirajul Islam, Dr. Md. Shakhawat Hossen and Amin Khan, TV Department’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Engineer Mostafa Nahid Hossain, TV Marketing In-charge Maruf Hasan, TV Product Manager Tanvir Mahmud Shuvo and Programme Coordinator SK Tofazzal Hossain Sohel were present at the function.

During the Cricket World Cup, Customers may get a chance of buying the local brand’s 24-inch LED TV at Tk 8,990 instead of its regular price of Tk 12,990; 32-inch LED TV at Tk 12,990 as against its regular price Tk 16,500 and the same size’s smart TV at 18,990 instead of the current price Tk 21,900.

The offer may allow the customers buying Walton’s 39-inch smart TV at Tk 19,990 as against the regular price Tk 31,900 as well as 43-inch smart TV at Tk 22,990 in lieu of its present price Tk 34,900.

Walton TV’s CEO Engineer Mostafa Nahid Hossain said they are manufacturing environment and environment friendly televisions maintaining international standards. Thus, Walton TV is being exported to Germany of the Europe through achieving several standards’ certificates like Consumer Electronics Certification (CE); Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), he noted. 

According to Walton authorities, customers are now enjoying 6 months replacement guaranty; 4 years guaranty on the panels of Walton brand 32, 39, 43, 49 and 55-inch LED and smart TVs; and easy installment facility up to 36 months.
