Cricketer Nasum Ahmed loses mother

Nasum Ahmed, a regular face of domestic cricket of Sylhet, has lost his mother.
His mother Shiria Begum passed away on Sunday morning (June 21). She was 52.
She was buried at Manikpir graveyard in Sylhet city after Namaz-e-Janaza at the noon.
Farhad Qureshi, manager of Sylhet divisional team, confirmed the news.
Earlier in the morning, Nasum’s mother suddenly fell ill. She was immediately whisked off to Rageeb Rabeya Medical College and Hospital in the city where duty doctors declared her dead.
BCB director Shafiul Alam Chowdhury Nadel, Sylhet district sports organization general secretary Mahi Uddin Ahmed Selim, Sylhet division sports organization general secretary Marian Chowdhury Mammi expressed deep shock at the demise of Nasum’s mother.
