‘Criminals to be brought under trial’

Staff Correspondent: State Minister for Shipping Ministry Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury said that top steps to be taken for the road accident victim BIWTC officer Krishna Roy. The criminals behind the accident will be brought under trial.

The state minister made the opinion while addressing reporters after visiting the BIWTC staffer at National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation on Saturday.

He said, “Doctors tried their best to provide best treatment to Krishna Roy. A leg of Krishna Roy will not be got back but the best effort to make her fit will continue.”

Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury also said, “The Prime Minister and Shipping Ministry is informed over the treatment of Krishna Roy. Law enforcers will take steps to bring the criminals under trial after investigation soon.”

Meanwhile, Health secretary Asadul Islam, BIWTC Chairman Pranay Kanti Biswas, Hospital director Abdul Gani Mollah and others attended.
