Ctg port to remain open for 24 hrs

Staff Correspondent: The Chittagong port authority has decided to keep the port open for 24 hours from Tuesday (August 1) with an aim to ease export and import activities.
Zafar Alam, member (Admin and Planning) of Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) confirmed the matter.
Chittagong port sources said that from now the bank and customs office in the port will function 24 hours. For the smooth operation of the port, the authorities concerned took the step.
