Cylinder blast: Another child dies

An eight-year-old boy, who was injured in the gas cylinder blast in Rupnagar area of the capital, has succumbed at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), raising the death toll to six.

Nihad breathed his last at 3.00am on Thursday at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
Inspector Bachchu Mia of DMCH police outpost confirmed the matter.

Five children were killed on the spot as a gas cylinder used to inflate balloons blasted on road 11 of Rupnagar on Thursday afternoon.
