DB SI Jahangir Hossain put on remand

A Dhaka court on Tuesday remanded the arrested DB sub-inspector, Jahangir Hossain, in police custody for 1 day in connection with the robbery of Tk 1.95 crore.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate (virtual court) Ziaur Rahman passed the order on Tuesday (June 16).

Sub-Inspector Motaleb Hossain, registered officer of the concerned court confirmed the matter to reporters.

Earlier, DB Inspector Kamrul Islam produced the accused before the court seeking seven days remand.
