DNCC conducts eviction drives in Mohammadpur

The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has conducted drives against illegal structures in capital’s Mohammadpur.

DNCC area-1 executive officer and executive magistrate Masud Hossain started the drive in the main road of Chandrima Udyan Housing on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, signboards of 120 shops were removed in the area. Besides, two shops were fined Tk 3,000 for running business without trade license.

A food processing factory was sealed off during the drive.
