DNCC launches combing operation to prevent dengue

Staff Correspondent:  Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has launched a combing operation to eliminate Aedes mosquitoes.

DNCC Mayor Md Atiqul Islam and educationist Professor Abdullah Abu Sayeed jointly inaugurated the combing operation from Dr  Fazle Rabbi Park at Gulshan in the city on Tuesday.

“City corporation staff will visit houses in each area during the combing operation. Actions will be taken if Aedes larvae are found. We’ll also conduct drives at all bus terminals, hospitals and police outpost areas,” the mayor said.
