DNCC starting drives to clear off roads and footpaths

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) is set to conduct drives to clear off roads and footpaths from illegal occupation from September 22, says Mayor Atiqul Islam.

He said this in a meeting held at Nagar Bhaban in the capital’s Gulshan on Tuesday afternoon.

DNCC arranged the meeting to discuss over conducting drives to clear off roads and footpaths from illegal occupation.

Mayor said we will conduct drives at all areas across the city one after another. Drives will continue till footpaths and roads would be cleared off. In this case, if it takes 5-10 days for a single area, we are ready to give.
