DU starts conducting Covid-19 tests again

Dhaka University has started conducting coronavirus detection test again, Prof DrNasima Sultana, additional director general of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.

She made the disclosure while addressing a health bulletin from Mohakhali in the capital on Monday (June 22).

Nasima Sultana said, “Coronavirus detection tests are being going on in 62 laboratories. The laboratory of Dhaka University (DU) was shut temporarily. But, it will be functioning again.”

Earlier on April 27, the DGHS said, a lab will start functioning in Dhaka University. But, on June 1, the DU authorities stopped coronavirus testing facilities at its lab citing special reasons.
