DU students asked to leave dormitories by 6pm Friday

Authorities of Dhaka University (DU) today asked its resident students to leave their dormitories by 6:00pm on Friday (March 20) amid coronavirus fears.

The authorities have also taken a decision to extend its vacation to March 31 instead of March 28.

The decision was taken at an emergency syndicate meeting this noon to prevent the risk of spreading coronavirus, confirmed DU Vice Chancellor Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman.
