‘Dacoit’ killed in Gazipur ‘gunfight’

A suspected dacoit was killed in a ‘gunfight’ with RAB in Satkhamair area under Sreepur upazila in Gazipur district on Tuesday midnight.

The deceased was identified as Masud Parvej alias Parvej Dacoit, 33, who hailed from Barmi area of the upazila.

RAB also recovered a foreign pistol, six shotguns and a shutter gun from the spot.

RAB claimed that he was wanted in about 13/14 cases.

One RAB person was also injured in the gunfight, they also claimed.
