Daily Sangram Editor lands in jail

A Dhaka court has sent the Daily Sangram newspaper editor Abul Asad, to jail in a case filed under Digital Security Act.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Baki Billah passed the order after hearing on Wednesday.

Inspector (Operation) of Hatirjheel Police Station Mohammad Golam Azam, also investigation officer of the case, produced him before the court and pleaded to keep him behind the bars.

Earlier on December 14, the court placed him three days remand.
