Depression in Bay, Maritime ports asked to hoist signal 3

Risingbd Desk: Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist signal number 3 as depression took place over North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of the country.

“Deep Convection took place over North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh and West Bengal. So maritime ports are advised to hoist local cautionary signal no. three,” said a met office weather bulletin on Tuesday.

Besides, rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places.

Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
