Dhaka city polls schedule likely today

The Election Commission (EC) is expected to announce the schedule for the polls to the Dhaka North and South city corporations today (Sunday).

The agenda for the commission’s meeting for Sunday includes the schedule for the polls to the two Dhaka cities and it will be announced after the meeting that will begin at 2.30pm, sources said.

The officials have already submitted election proposals to the Commission.
