Elderly man dies at Bhola isolation ward

An elderly man died of coronavirus-like symptoms at isolation ward at Bhola General Hospital on Saturday.

Physicians said the man had been suffering from diabetes and shortness of breath. Later, he died of acute shortness of breath.

His sample was sent to test for coronavirus two days ago, but the report has yet to come.

District civil surgeon Dr Ratan Kumar Dhali also confirmed this to risingbd.

He said the man was admitted to the hospital with coronavirus-like symptoms on April 23.
