Ershad suffering from breathing difficulties

Senior Correspondent: The physical condition of Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad has deteriorated who is undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital.

Now, he cannot talk anymore and recognise any person. Even, he currently has stopped the normal movement. He has been served oxygen support as he is suffering breathing difficulties.

Earshad’s health condition may deteriorate further, according to physicians.

It was learnt that Ershad’s health state deteriorated alarmingly around Sunday noon. Later, he was taken in the hospital’s critical care unit where he is being provided intensive treatment so that he can breathe well.

Around 4:00pm, Sunil Shuvo Roy, press and political secretary of JP Chairman, emerged out after seeing Ershad and told risingbd that the health condition of sir (Ershad) has worsened. But physicians said that he currently no needs of life support. He is now suffering breathe difficulties and being provided oxygen. They physicians are trying their best to overcome the condition.

Sunil Shuvo Roy said, “Sir (Ershad) could speak a day before. His health condition had improved nearly 50 percent. Physicians said that three difficulties among four he is suffering from improved. But the fourth one that is breathing problem has suddenly worsened. He is currently feeling short of breath that causes heath condition deteriorates.

He requested countrymen to keep the former president Ershad in their prayers so that he comes round soon.
