Ex-MP Fazilatunnesa Bappy dies

Fazilatunnesa Bappy, a former lawmaker of ruling Awami League and vice-president of Juba Mohila Legaue, has died.
She died around 8.00am on Thursday at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
Aminul Islam, personal secretray of the vice-chancellor of BSMMU, confirmed this.
She was suffering from pneumonia and respiratory complications. She was put on life support several days ago as her condition deteriorated.
Bappy was a former ruling party lawmaker for a woman reserved seat in the ninth and 10th parliament.
She also worked as a prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal (ICT).
