Staff Correspondent: The High Court (HC) granted permanent bail to former Awami League lawmaker Amanur Rahman Khan Rana in a case filed over the murder of two Jubo League leaders.
The HC bench of Justice AKM Asaduzzaman and Justice SM Mujibur Rahman granted the bail order on Wednesday.
Lawyer Monsurul Haque Chowdhury moved for Amanur Rahman Khan while deputy attorney general Dr Md Bashir Ullah stood for the state.
Earlier on March 6, the court granted a six-month bail to former Awami League lawmaker Amanur Rahman Khan Rana.
