BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has urged all people to stand against the government.
He on Friday made the urge a programme at the Jatiya Press Club in memory of its ex-president Jabed Iqbal who died recently.
Fakhrul said now DNA test needs for doing jobs. What a test? If there is any smell of BNP of Nationality? Are you laughing? You all know the matters. So, we all should stand against the government.
“We had fought during the Liberation War for the spirit of democracy. Now the ruling Awami League is eating the democracy after frying,” he added.
The BNP leader hailed the verdict in Holey Artisan café attack case saying it is a judgement in favour of humanity.
“We welcome the verdict and we’re happy over it. Hope, we’ll remain alert to prevent the recurrence of such incident in Bangladesh,” he added.
