Families mourn death of 5 youths

Families are mourning in Narayanganj for deaths of five youths who were killed in a road accident at Maksudpur upazila of Gopalganj.

They were killed as a private car caught fire after falling into a roadside ditch on Dhaka-Barisal highway at Chagalchira on Sunday afternoon. They were returning to Dhaka from Kuakata.

The deceased are Shahin Alam, son of Haji Judge Mia at Uttar Kashipur in Narayanganj sadar upazila, his friend Farid Mia, son of Harun or Rashid, Khorshed Alam Khokon, son of late Mofizul Islam at Pathantali, Masud, son of Rashid at Police Lines Afaz Nagar, and Mannan, son of Kashem Mia at New Court.

The namaz-e-janaza of two youths was held on Monday morning.

The five youths were businessmen.

Khorshed Alam Khokon and Masud hailed from Motlob in Chandpur and Mannan from Barishal. Their bodies were sent to respective village homes.
