Father, daughter among 3 killed in Gazipur road crash

At least three people including a man and his daughter have been killed and injured three others in a road accident on Dhaka-Kishoreganj road in Kapasia of Gazipur.

The deceased were known as Mazharul Islam, 33, Sohel Mia, 50 and his daughter Ruma.

Kapasia police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Rafiqul Islam said, Kishoreganj-bound a passenger bus collided with a CNG-run auto rickshaw in Dighirpar area around 4:30pm on Thursday, leaving six people.

Later, the injured were sent to Kapasia Health Complex where duty doctors declared the three people dead.
