Ferry services to remain suspended before and after Eid

The government has issued some strict rules to prevent spread of coronavirus during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

As per the direction, ferry movement will remain suspended five days before Eid and three days after Eid.

However, daily necessary goods and cattle laden transports will be allowed to ply through ferry service.

Shipping Ministry issued a direction in this regard on Wednesday (July 15) noon.

State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury said, all emergency services are out of this directions.
